Groovy Beams is about the inner glow that comes with self acceptance. Be different. Be unique. Be yourself.

Groovy Beams

Pentaptych: Center Ring

A five-part self-portrait exploring the faces of autism. Starting as simply being myself but seen as different, then learning to mask, still being judged anyway, ending in a breaking point where everything finally spills over.

The Gaze

Junk Drawer

June 2025-WIP

Junk Drawer is my second art series. It is something I had been thinking about doing for a year. Junk Drawer explores self acceptance. As an autistic person I experience the world in fragments of tiny details. At times they can be overwhelming. Junk Drawer is where I bring those pieces together. As an autistic person I collect a lot of things. You will find them scattered throughout room. My collections needed a new purpose, new life. Each piece holds items that are personal, sentimental, beautiful, odd, fun and me. A recurring element is the symbol of the eye. Sometimes it is center stage and sometimes it is hidden. The eye is a tribute to my late father, he was an eye doctor. The most personal element of all is that I'm making a visual representation of my autism through every attached item representing all the things I process in a day. Hopefully making something beautiful. This process is my way of honoring my neurodivergent perspective. Instead of hiding what sets me apart, I use it to create. The traits I once masked have become the theme of my art, and the exact expression of who I am. Age 14+
La Citrouille 8x10 Pumpkins often represent transformation. Making it a perfect addition to this series.... part of the theme is giving new life and meaning to old treasures and memories. Also, I love pumpkin pie and Halloween so I needed a pumpkin in this series. It was inspired from a previous sketch I did.
Le Visage Rose 18x24
She is my original piece representing my Autistic experience. You can tell she is a person just a little different.. The green represents every sound, smell and interaction that I experience in a day and what it takes to process everything. She was inspired from a previous sketch.

Le Soleil, La Lune et Les Étoiles 16x20
The sun and moon are together in balance. This represents the past with memories tied to the trinkets and the possibilities with all the stars in the sky.

L'Oeil Violet 22x26 with frame
The eye itself is a symbol of awareness, truth and protection.
Boutons d’Étoiles 18x24 The neutral expression clown is a reflection of my personal autistic experience. What you see is neutral expression, showing neither joy nor sadness. It reflects the in between space I often feel trying to blend in while processing many emotions and details at once.
Les Yeux en Rose et Jaune 12x24
The pink and yellow eyes are curious and full of energy. They capture a sense of joy and mystery. This piece gives off the feeling of being safe and curious at the same time, like a kid exploring.
Boutons de Joie 18x24
The happy clown is a masked self portrait. What you see is happy and exaggerated. Obviously a mask to who the person really is underneath the makeup. As an autistic person, l often mask to make myself more relatable or understandable. That mask also hides the intensity of my inner world.

I See You 16x20 I See You is about the courage it takes to exist, trying to be true to myself in a world that is always judging. The face is tired of masking all of the time. The hands stretch the mouth open around a single eye. That eye is my voice when my words are not safe. It looks back and says: I see you judge me.
Becoming Me 36X48 Becoming Me is a mixed media piece of my preschool through 5th grade art. This piece is intentionally crowded, messy yet playful. That is what it felt like to have undiagnosed Autism during those years. I’m honoring every stage of myself, the past(my past art), present(incorporating my current art style), and future(the wonder of the future holds when you are young). Becoming Me Is a perfect addition to my Junk Drawer collection. Instead of letting all that old art sit in a box, I wanted to give it a second life and actually showcase the pieces that shaped me with a side of my current art style.

Victorian Clown 18x24

End Of The Show 24x36

After all the masking. After all the judgment. After I have processed everything around me. The meltdown.

Bijou Drawer

August 2025-WIP

A sibling to my art series Junk Drawer. Bijou Drawer reimagines old jewelry and charms into fresh new pieces. Each piece has brand new hardware with its reimagined beads and charms. I have always collected beads and charms because they are pretty and brought me joy. To use them now lets me share with everyone else.,
