Voodoo Doll Earrings

Green Eyes

I love doing art with eyes. My dad was an eye doctor and I can remember being a little girl and just playing with the models of eyes in his office.

Starry night dress

I designed this dress and made it. My mom had taught me how to lay out a pattern and cut it. How to read the pattern and how to use the sewing machine. She guided me on all the steps since this was my first time sewing!

Inside out characters in 3D

I took inspiration from the Inside Out characters to make them in 3-D out of foam sheets.

Practice

I want to make a chessboard. So I tried this idea with 2 inch canvases in case in resin. I like how it turned out, but I don't think this is what I wanna do for my chessboard.

The Beach

I wanted to do something a little different from my norm. My mom said I had to use stuff I already had.  This started with me playing around with a mold kit. Then I was inspired by all of my summer beach trips. I had the mold kit. Resin from my jewelry, sand and shells from the beach and yarn because I crochet! So I just started doing stuff with no real plan. And this is what I created!! .

Squares

I had to tape this 4 times to get all of the squares done! I absolutely love it. The possibilities with this style are endless. age 12.

Abstract circles

Abstract circles

My art process for Abstract Circles.  age 12

My vision was to have perfect metallic circles. But since it was my first time working with metallic leaf I didn’t know what to expect. It was harder than I thought. But the broken circles resembled Earth to me. I loved how they turned out. I saved the left over leaf to put in jewelry inspired by this piece later. Pink and orange are two of my favorite colors and they bring me joy.

Bradford

My art process for Bradford

I love Bradford Pear trees. The white blooms are classic and elegant. I took some pictures, picked a few lowers and pressed some in a book for later. While the flowers pressed I did a quick sketch and then worked on my digital piece. Come back later for the Bradford jewelry collection! age 11

Textured PlAY

My art process for TEXTURED PLAY

I wanted to experiment with textured art.  This was a mixture of plaster, white acrylic paint and Impasto clear gel acrylic medium. I need to work on it cracking during the drying process. I am not sure what direction I want to go with color yet. age 11

Photo Transfers

My art process for Photo Transfers

I started this with cutting out a photo and painting around it and then dusting it with sand. Age 11

Sky cruise

My art process for Sky Cruise.

It started with a class doodle. I later made it again changing a few things. Then came a digital idea for it. After I started painting it I did not like the clouds I was doing. I tried black foil leaf for the edging. Then the final result. Last but not least the merchandise... STICKERS. age 10
